Chat with your savesChat with your bookmarks, and get answers with sources
Last updated October 16, 2026
Bookmarks are easy to make and almost impossible to use. You saved hundreds of pages for a reason. Relic reads them, so you can ask what's in them instead of scrolling a list of titles.
Why bookmarks stop working
A bookmark keeps the link and the title, and nothing about why you saved it. After a few hundred, a folder of bookmarks is a list you search by guessing the title. Most saved pages are never opened again, not because they weren't useful, but because finding them costs more than searching the web again.
How it works
- Bring your bookmarks in. Import your browser's bookmarks file in the web app and pick the folders and links you want, or save open tabs from the Chrome extension.
- Relic reads each page. It saves the readable text, then writes a summary and key takeaways and adds a category and tags.
- Ask in plain language. "What did I save about onboarding emails?" Relic finds the relevant pages and answers from them.
- Check the sources. Every answer cites the saved items it used, so you can open the original in one click.
Why not just ask ChatGPT?
General assistants answer from the internet and from your conversations with them. They don't keep the pages you saved, so "that article I bookmarked last spring" is usually a dead end.
| Compared | ChatGPT and other assistants | Relic |
|---|---|---|
| Knows | The internet | What you saved |
| Keeps your pages | No | Yes, with summaries and tags |
| Answers cite | Web sources | Your own saved items |
| Trains on your library | Depends on settings | Never |
Your library stays yours
Relic only reads pages you choose to save. Your content is never used to train AI models, and you can export your library or delete your account at any time. Details are in the privacy policy.
Common questions
- Can I chat with my browser bookmarks?
- Yes. Import your bookmarks into Relic AI and ask questions across them in plain language. Answers come only from your saved pages and cite each one.
- Can I save all my open tabs at once?
- Yes. The Relic Chrome extension lists your open tabs, you tick the ones to keep, and they're saved to your library in one go.
- Is it free?
- Relic AI is free during its open beta.
