When do I get access?
Right away. The Relic beta is open and free: sign up with your email and your welcome note takes you straight into the app.
What can Relic capture?
Any web link, PDFs and papers, YouTube videos (transcribed and summarized for you), Notion pages and Google Drive files, and your browser bookmarks. Save one page with the Chrome extension, a batch of open tabs at once, or import everything and pick exactly what you want.
Where does my data live?
Your library is yours. It's stored encrypted, synced across your devices, and you can export it at any time.
Does it work across platforms?
Relic is a web app plus a Chrome extension that saves the page you're on, or a batch of open tabs, in one click. A mobile app is on the roadmap.
What does it cost?
Relic is free during the beta. Paid plans come later, and you'll always see the price before you're asked to pay anything.
What is an AI second brain?
A place that keeps what you read, watch and save, organizes it for you, and answers questions from it. Relic summarizes and tags every save automatically, then lets you ask your library in plain language and cites the exact sources it used.
How is Relic different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT knows the internet. Relic knows what you saved. Ask Relic about "that AI article I saved from the New York Times" and it finds it, answers from it, and links the source, because every answer comes only from your own library.
Can Relic transcribe YouTube videos and playlists?
Yes. Save a YouTube video and Relic fetches its transcript, summarizes it, and makes it searchable, so you can ask questions across everything you've watched. Whole playlists can be added too.
Is Relic a good Pocket alternative?
If you used Pocket to save things for later, Relic covers that and goes further: it summarizes what you save, organizes it automatically, and lets you ask questions across all of it, so saved articles don't disappear into a backlog.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. Your library is never used to train AI models, by us or by our AI provider. You can export everything or delete your account at any time.
